Easter Bunny Rolls

Ingredients
• 500 g wheat flour
• 7 g dry yeast
• 75 g fine sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 75 g soft butter
• 2 eggs
• ± 200 ml lukewarm milk
• Raisins (for eyes/decoration)
• 1 extra egg, beaten (for brushing)
• Uncooked eggs (to bake in the mould)
Preparation
1. Mix the flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
2. Rub in the butter until crumbly.
3. Add eggs and milk and knead into a soft, supple dough.
4. Cover and leave to rise for ± 1 hour until doubled in size.
5. Divide the dough and shape into animals or figures (rabbit, chick, etc.).
6. Carefully press an uncooked egg into the dough.
7. Use raisins for eyes; press firmly.
8. Brush with beaten egg.
9. Bake at 180 °C for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
The egg cooks in the oven.
